Did you see the VERY VERY end of "Apocaplypse Now!" or did you miss the explosion during the credits?

I was watching this movie on TCM the other day and specifically waited as "The End" by The Doors was to play and Kurtz's land was completely destroyed. IT DIDN'T HAPPEN, I think they had a bogus copy or a different copy of the original I saw in the theatres in the seventies.
