The best stuff is the Aquarium salt you can pick it up at Petsmart or Wal-Mart its possible to do with table salt but if you plan to put them anywhere near a fish tank or feed then to fish you better go with the Aquarium salt. The type we use has chemicals to keep the salt from clotting when its moist and can be deadly to fish also remember to treat your water first the best water is from an establish fish tank and add Your salt accordingly.
