Privacy in the Military?

I'm 18, and I am thinking about joining the military. Im also a DJ. In order for me to practice DJing, I probably will need my own room so I can practice without disturbing anyone. Also I need a place to set up a computer/laptop. I've talked to a navy recruiter, and he says that you'll most likely end up being on a ship someway or the other. And if I'm on a ship, i'm guessing theres probably little to no privacy on them. What branch of military would be best to join in order for me to deal with this situation?
