What techniques should I use?

I am a b fisherman from Machusetts, and it is tough to find information about b fishing in the northeast during the fall. My favorite body of water to fish, the Quabbin Reservoir, is going to close for the season soon, and I wanted to go out one more time. Last time I went out I had no success using my usual finesse worm and crank bait techniques. What should I be using at this point of the year, and I know to go deeper, but how deep should I fish?
