Will Obama be able to handle the pressure?

Right now he has been avoiding taking any stance which is par for him but soon he will have to take positions and he will screw up in some cases as all presidents do. Now here is my question will liberals be able to handle the onslaught because for 8 years GW as been under a onslaught of vitriol and criticism from liberals you know what they say about payback....will liberals be able to handle it now that the shoe is on the other foot?
