Geography and Climate question.?

Hi :) I am not a expert, but here is what i do know. The equater is the main factor in heat dispersment, but you have to allow for other factors the two main one's are the make up of the area's your talking about i.e texas is dessert and the sun reflects the ground particals of this, i.e sand is similar to gl and reflects heat up into the atmosphere, where as in indonesia the land m is mostly rainforest and reflects the suns rays and has a cooling effect upon the atmosphere. The other main factor is the atmospheric pressure, and in texas this is usually higher and allow's a greater inter soluption ( sun/air ) movement than in indonesia...basically it means the winds are stronger in the usa or teas than in indonesia, this allow's for a greater diversity in tempreture and works to make the area hotter or colder ( works both ways :) ) anyway, i hope this helps :)
