i was discharge from my job to due to low peformance back in april 2009 and then i filed for unemployment back in may 2009. the problem is that back then i didn't know the difference between being laid off and getting discharged. when my employer discharge me they said they had to let go. 2 weeks ago the unemployment office sent me a questionaire asking me questions and a letter saying that i quit my last job when i never quit i got discharge and they suspended my benefits until the problem is resolved. do you think i will end up owing them money because i mistakenly told them i got laid off instead telling them i was discharged? i live in pa by the way

I have been working for a dr the past 2 1/2 months.I was the receptionist and was required to work with one other woman up front, and one of my duties was to learn her job (to cover in case she wasn't there).I did my job very well and at first everyone got along fine.Then she started with her narcissism. I ask questions and never get clear answers, mostly just grunts or am ignored all together.When I am spoken to, it is always with hostility & aggression. She tries to make me look incompetent by piling HER work on me(insurance responsibilities) I have been singled out and treated differently than the other 3 staff members the entire time I've been there.She purposely takes important paperwork, then will put it back like she never had it, again to make it look like I'm incompetent.I know I have been targeted and hared.Funny thing to add-I am the 7th receptionist they've had in 1 year bc of this woman.I went to my boss consistently with the issues at hand for the past 2 months.He has literally done NOTHING, just keeps telling me we would have a meeting, but we never did.Makes me wonder whats really going on?But instead of doing something about the problems, I had one last talk with him and handed in a resignation letter.We discussed it and decided that we would work on things with the "problem" employee, bc he (exact quote)"cant deal with this ****" (think of how i feel being walked all over everyday!). Well Janice is and have been taking care of her children without the help of their father for years and she has paid for everything up until now right? Casio Brigade, or Env Touch?

So after asking many questions on here and reading reviews I have decided between the Env Touch or the Casio Brigade. I am a little rough on my phones but not terribly. I do have an iPod touch and it is still fine after a year. I defiantly want a full keyboard, a touch screen would be nice, as well as a pod browser, this is on the Env Touch. The brigade still has that real nice easy to use keyboard, but is rugged, water-proof (resistant, look this up don't say it's not because it is), but an awful Internet browser. What are my Macaw Parrots really doing? Weird beak motion?

I've had two of my Macaw Parrots since around December. We're very POSITIVE that one is a male and the other is a female. Please explain well for me to understand,only 12 years of age(: But anyways, they were in their cage (like always) but outside in my backyard and after I was done feeding them I watered the plants in my backyard. After I was done, I walk over to them and see the two parrots doing some weird beak motion/movement. If you were closer, you'd see that the female was the bottom beak and the male was the top beak.. While they were "beak locked," they jerked their heads up and down quickly like how they did it that video link. It's a little hard to see and I just found that video quickly on youtube. After she (the female macaw) saw me standing there,she stopped for a few seconds until the male decided to.. invite her to do it again ? He "invited" her to do it again by doing it solo,LOL. He was doing it by hiself, jerking his head quickly in one direction to show her he wanted to do it again. So I guess she accepted or something and they did it again and I saw some of their salavia dripping from doing that. This is the FIRST time I've seen them do it in 8 months of having them. They've also seem to be getting along more today, and I saw her rubbing her head against his body,letting him scratch her head with his beak. Usually they'd bite eachother.. So my question is,what are they really doing? Were they mating or something?

My mother in law's husband is on parole. Long story short, she is ready to be rid of him, but she's scared of what he will do if she were to just kick him out. So, she is asking us to try to find a way to put him back in jail. He was in prison for possession of narcotics/opiates, and he still does them now and actually sells probably $5,000 worth of pills out of his house every month. My labrodoor x ridgeback was attacked by a Mastiff when he was a pup (the Mastiff was also a pup,but much bigger than him,they were playing and things got out of hand) and he nearly had his ear chewed off (he's fine now) he is now 5 years old but he attacks dogs larger than he is out of fear.Last week he bit a German Sheperd and all it did was run up to him.He is the most gentle thing in the world with smaller animals,but dogs of similar size or bigger make him vicious.How do I get him used to big dogs so that I can get a Great Dane? I'd say if you can't do it right by refinishing the whole floor, then don't do anything. A patch job is worse than original more or less untouched. A hardwood floor is a selling feature unless it's so beat up it can't be refinished. People buying the house will probably want one of two things. They will want the hardwood floor refinished, or they'll want to put new carpet in. I wouldn't hide the bad repaired patch either, or at least I would make sure your agent knows about it. Better to be honest about stuff than dress it up and make people wonder what else you might have hidden.

My worry about dizzines?

i have been feeling dizzy for sometime now. i think it started somewhere around March when i was preparing for my final exams at the university. Even though it is on and off, i feel very uncomfortable anytime it happens. I visited the doctor and he ruled out anaemia, thyphiod, jaundice and malaria after lab test eventhough i was treated for malaria. Even today, i feel very dizzy. the doctor said it could be a cardiac problem or something to do with my blood pressure which read 130/80. I checked two wks ago and it was 120/80. please help me because the dizziness makes me feel very uncomfortable.

My iguana has an OBVIOUS problem with it's head, and it's not swelling. I had a highly unexpected seizure and it's not eating I think it's too cold, but it well only move it's head to the left and not the right and won't lay in a straight line he curls up and makes an O, his tail is in his face. I do not think my parents will get him to the vet soon enough and it's two hours before they get home for my to ask them who are vet is anyway. I think it might be because of his fungus, he has a lot of it and I didn't know about the 100% proper care for the iguana I just fed it the right diet and gave it a big cage. I didn't know about a UVB till two weeks ago and he hasn't been getting enough heat because hes in a medium sized to layer dog cage with screen around which I am now planning to change to plexi gl. (whenever I can afford it I get 5$ a week for allowance) If birdmeat (my iguana) dies it'll just be a learning moment for me. He is two years old and I have only had him for about 6 months. He wasn't tame but I have tamed him up little by little. I gave him a bath in warm water (90 degrees, I took a thermometer to it) and that lightened him up. I am just not sure how else I could help it. Right now this second it's in it's cage on it's heating pad wrapped in a cloth.

just because a person curses doesn't mean that they are uneducated or ignorant. jay-z, puffy and 50 cent all run various businesses and are very wealthy and intelligent people. This is like asking why heavy metal singers scream. It wasn't meant for everyone just as other forms of art and entertainment aren't for everyone. I hit a illegally uninsured parked car during a blizzard. Who's at fault?

The other night around 5:30pm during a huge snow storm.(1.5 ft already on the ground and still coming down hard) I was driving around a bend when at the last second I saw a abandoned car parked literally in the street with snow camouflaging it. I had a car coming in the the other direction so I couldn't go around it.. I hit my brakes and with the road conditions being wet and Slippery I started to slide and slammed into it.. This car had no hazards on and was only parked there because the owner was waiting to get their driveway plowed and didn't want to pack the snow down with her car. During the winter time there's a parking ban so people aren't allowed to park on the side of the road. (even though the car was parked in the rd and not on the side) the police showed up and realized this car was unregistered and was also not insured. My boyfriend and I both got stepped down on backboards and takin away in ambulances The police said that the owner of the parked car was a 100% at fault. But my insurance company says I could be at fault? I don't understand how I could be at fault for hitting an illegally parked ca in the road, during a parking ban, with no hazards on, was camouflaged by the snow, and wasn't even legal to be on state roads period. Well im 16 and im a weight lifter, i lift about 8 hours a week. My 4 year old toshiba satellite is now making noises when I tilt it or put any pressure (resting hands) over the area of the hard drive. It sounds like the hard drive is wobbling or jamming. If I keep tilting it the computer goes to the blue error screen and the computer restarts. Is my hard drive about to die me? Think there is somekind of fix for it?

Getting hair back to its natural colour?

My hair is dark brown, with pretty strong natural highlights. I've dyed it both a black and a burgundy colour before, and then I tried to get my natural back. I never bleached it or anything between dyes, so it always looks miscoloured. Is there any way to get the natural back, can a salon do it, or even some other remedies I can do myself that work to take dyes out and such? Anything would help.

Why would my tennis coach be upset about me drinking a pint of beer with my lunch?

Hey, I'm sitting a PTR tennis coaching course and today was my first day. Needle phobia + pregnant?

I have an extreme needle phobia, actually go catatonic around needles. I have a 2 year old and another child on the way. Trust me, when you are in labor, you won't notice the needle, even if you do have a reaction the doctors can handle it. I know the blood tests are horrible but every last second is worth it when you hold that baby. Can Oil Pastels be used with Oil Paints?

I suggest using acrylic paint for the base instead of oil. it's far quicker to dry than oil and is cheaper. Oil painters even use acrylic to make a base before applying oil paint. You CAN use oil paint as a base if you wish, just make sure it is fully dry (not just touch-dry) before applying pastel, this could take weeks if not longer, depending on how oily the paint is (more oily means more time taken to dry)

I camp in the winter a good bit on hunting trips. A tent usually isnt any warmer then the outside temp but it helps a lot b/c it blocks the wind and the rain from you. If inside a tent and inside a sleeping bag then it is pretty comfortable and warm. Yes it is perfectly safe to camp outside. Build you a fire to keep warm. At 13 you can't really do much, if you left and run away you can't really get a job, unless you want to be a prostitute on the street, which doesn't seem like that much fun, my friend got kicked out and lived with me for 3 weeks, do you have any friends that you could stay with? If they are physically abusive you could go to child services, also emotionally compromised. But all they can do is send you into the fostercare system until you are 18, but they have to check out your parents and if they check out and your home life looks okay it doesn't sound like much help unless your parents hand you over. All I can say is running away is not a good option, living on the streets is hard. I don't know from personal experience but my dad took in some homeless people and help turn there life around, not knowing where your next meal is going to come from, or worrying that you will get hurt by some people on the street, first I would try staying at your friends, then talking to your parents so they can hear you out. At age 13 its hard, living by your parents rules, not being able to find a job, and trying to finish school. If you have to tough it out, you should find someone you can easily talk to and share your problems that will help. Good Luck.

The equater is the main factor in heat dispersment, but you have to allow for other factors the two main one's are the make up of the area's your talking about i.e texas is dessert and the sun reflects the ground particals of this, i.e sand is similar to gl and reflects heat up into the atmosphere, where as in indonesia the land m is mostly rainforest and reflects the suns rays and has a cooling effect upon the atmosphere. The other main factor is the atmospheric pressure, and in texas this is usually higher and allow's a greater inter soluption ( sun/air ) movement than in indonesia...basically it means the winds are stronger in the usa or teas than in indonesia, this allow's for a greater diversity in tempreture and works to make the area hotter or colder ( works both ways :) ) anyway, i hope this helps :)

When charging a car battery, when should the black negative terminal never be connected to the negative post?

This is for a negatively grounded vehicle of course. I've always charged a battery with red clamp to the positive battery terminal and the black to ground, using lug or metal body part. I was told recently that the black clamp can go to the negative terminal, but I do remember experts saying to never connect black to the battery. Is there a specific case for this, like jump starting? I even had permanent quick disconnect rings attached by a dealer and they attached black to the negative post and they said that that was perfectly acceptable.

How long do dissolve able stitches/sutures take to dissolve?

I had a hysterectomy on 3/24. On 3/31 the surgeon removed my staples but had to stitch me back up. She told me the stitches could stay in for a couple of weeks. Just bought this computer this week..and so psyched about it....I have had this computer running all day at work (about 10 hours) and then at home (all night). Battery life when fully charged is about 6 hours....you can put it in a power saving mode when not actually using it. Surprisingly cool....I use it on my lap at home and no burns. I must warn you though, the charger needs ventilation. At work it was not hot, just warm....mainly because it was on the floor and heat was able to dissipate off of it.....but at home on the couch with me on it.....OUCH.....really hot.....so just place it where heat can dissipate....rather than trapped in between the sofa cushions and your body......Also, if you plan on using any movie making software...do NOT buy Pinnacle.....you will have issues with it on this laptop....not the laptop's fault...bad software.... :/

3 year ago my own aorta valve was replacedby a mechanical one due to (aorta stenosis) Now it has happened all over again. So both my Dr and surgeon say that if I get pains in the chest or get breathless Im to go straight to hospital. But I want to know why bother, as they will stabilize me and send me home for it to happen all over again, till they are ready to do something about it. So whats the point I may as well not bother, since Im already struggling just to get around, and have been ever since the first operation. I seem to be deteioating fast but nothing I can do about it. I am almost 58. and there is nothing I can do to stop the stenosis, so why bother?

Hello all, I'm currently living in my sister's house and have been repairing existing issues in the house one by one...thankfully with the help of my sister. The last major project is the kitchen ceiling. A few years back, due to the issues in the bathroom such as various leaks, it has left stains in the ceiling among other things and the kitchen needs to be replaced. I had one guy come out to take a look at it and he said that he would email me an estimate tomorrow. I have two more guys coming out to give me an estimate. The guy that came today said that I would need at least 3 5x8 sheets of drywall. I can't get in touch my family friend who does this kind of work that I can't seem to get a hold of who I know would give me a great price and do an AMAZING job. Tricky Urine Drug Test Questions. DON'T NEED ADVICE ON PING. This is a legality issue. Help Please!!?

So I have a questions on drug tests in the work place. My employer never asked for a pee test when I was first hired on, nor was I made to sign an agreement stating that I will submit to random drug tests in the work place. The only reason they are asking me to take a urine test is because we recently received a job where the job site requires anyone who works on this specific job, has to submit to a pee test. I will not be working on any installing or anything of the sort with this job. I want to know, do I have to submit to the urine test? Or is it legal for me to say "No i will not submit to this urine test as you did not ask for one when you employed me" I just need to know some answers. Not to mention they only told me today and the test is supposed to be sometime this week. Is there a certain time period that they have to give me warning? Anyone know anything about this?
